Latina actress Maria de Sanchez came to the adult film industry quite naturally. In the early 90s, she was working as a stripper in Tenerife when she and her husband decided to get involved in the Spanish porn industry. But in 1999, Sanchez retired from acting in adult films in order to focus on modeling and running a swingers club called Mode Bar that she opened in Tenerife with her husband in 1996. Although she never made a full comeback to porn, Sanchez did appear in a few movies from 2002-2006.
